I am an ecotoxicologist specialised in the study of Arctic seabirds. Even far from intensive human activities, the Arctic is facing fast environmental changes because of our activities. I work to understand how Arctic seabirds are impacted and how they will adapt.


But I have not always been a scientist. My first career was as a bank officer. Once I realized this career was not for me, I quitted my job in 2008 to study ecology at the university, from scratch. After one year of scientific high school diploma, a bachelor and master degree in Ecology, I worked as a research assistant with Franck Courchamp before starting my PhD. My PhD took place in La Rochelle University at the lab LIENSs (CV), under the supervision of Jérôme Fort within the the project ARCTOX. I graduated in 2020, at 36 years old. 

Je suis écotoxicologue, spécialisée dans l’étude des oiseaux marins Arctiques. Bien que loin des activités humaines intensices, l’Arctique doit faire face à des changement environnementaux rapides à cause des nos activités. Je travaille à comprendre comment les oiseaux marins sont affectés et comments ils s’adaptent.

Cependant, je n’ai pas toujours été une scientifique. Ma première carrière était en tant qu’agent de banque. En 2008, j’ai décidé de quitter mon emploi pour reprendre mes études de zéro et étudier l’écologie. Après une remise à niveau scientifique, une licence, un master et un emploi d’assistante de recherche avec Franck Courchamp à l’Université Paris-Saclay, je me suis installée à La Rochelle en 2017 pour y faire mon doctorat (CV) sous la direction de Jérôme Fort, dans le cadre du projet de recherche ARCTOX. J’ai obtenu mon doctorat en 2020, à l’âge de 36 ans.
